In order for Upper Laurel Ambulance to provide service in a non-emergency environment, we respectfully request 24 hours prior notice for any scheduled appointments.

Transportation by ambulance must be deemed medically necessary by a physician and not strictly for convenience.

What this means is that for a patient to be eligible for non-emergency ambulance transportation, they must be unable to ride in a conventional vehicle or sit in a wheelchair during transit. Each non-emergency call is screened for eligibility.

Upper Laurel Ambulance currently has immediate full- and part-time openings for West Virginia certified Paramedics and EMT's in good standing. ULAS has a variety of schedules and shifts available.
